


The trailer itself features heavy narration from Bloody Wolf - a mysterious figure who's sparked a lot of speculation among Diablo 4 fans - and is set to "Nightmare" by music star Halsey. While players don't know the full context of these scenes, they certainly paint a tense atmosphere for Diablo 4. Some of the most notable scenes include Lilith cornering a frightened knight with what appears to be an orange soul stone, Diablo 4's new main character Donan facing down Lilith and a demon riding a hellhound Along with the player in Scosglen, Neyrelle channels magic and appears with a blue mark around her neck. The story release trailer also showcases other important story pieces coming in Diablo 4. From clips showing knights battling giant demons, Inarius fighting mighty monsters himself, and Reverend Mother Prava being overwhelmed by enemies, players can enjoy the full movie. However, several new scenes can be seen throughout the trailer, many of which appear to be from the full version of the climactic battle between followers of the Church of Illuminati and the armies of Hell. Some of the sequences shown will be familiar to those who played the beta, such as the cutscene where Lilith arrives at the Diablo 4 starting town of Nevesk. Now, players have experienced some of the other cutscenes they can see in Diablo 4. However, the ARPG's early cinematic trailers stand out in the memories of many fans - especially the 2022 Game Awards trailer, which showed a massive battle between Inarius, Lilith, and their respective armies. Players got to experience Diablo 4's first act during the Test Weekend event, where they saw its first chapter unfold.

The scenes shown in the new trailer tease some of the major story moments players will soon experience in Diablo 4.
